A delightful island in the Mediterranean Sea of Spain, known for its fancy parties and hippies, but secretly Ibiza is much more than that. Ibiza has beautiful beaches and nature. You can get lost in time as you drive through the small inland roads of the island. At the same time, there is always something to experience on the entire island, and hidden gems can be found everywhere, from delicious restaurants to secret beaches. We have therefore done our best to compile a list of our ultimate favorites and hidden gems of Ibiza.
The Best Restaurants in Ibiza
How wonderful that you are going to Ibiza, or even better, are already in Ibiza! When we talk about the most beautiful hotspots in Ibiza, the restaurants naturally cannot be missed. The first tip we want to give you is to RESERVE your spot. Almost all hotspots are always fully booked. And then you might think: "Surely not in the low season." But unfortunately: "Yes, even in the low season." Therefore, it is best to secure your spot in advance, so you are guaranteed a place and can enjoy all the beauty these restaurants have to offer.
#1 Chiringuito Cala Gracioneta
Our ultimate favorite in Ibiza, and therefore this hidden gem cannot be missing from this list of hotspots. This delightful restaurant is completely hidden in a small village with its own private bay. When you arrive, you might think you're in the wrong place. There's a man sitting on a plastic chair in the middle of a small street. He'll probably tell you to find a parking spot further down the street, unless you've reserved one. After this, you walk down a small street and arrive at the restaurant, but you only see this bohemian paradise when you walk along the side to the entrance. You are completely immersed in the bohemian vibe. You truly breathe Ibiza here. Besides this, the food is delicious, and the cocktails are scrumptious (a bit pricey, but almost everything in Ibiza is). TIP: Wear your bikini/swim trunks and bring your beach towel, because there's nothing better than taking a refreshing dip in the clear blue water of the private bay after a delicious lunch! Enjoy!
#2 Casa Jondal
Casa Jondal is a relatively new hotspot on the island, and we are fans! This beautiful spot can be found on the famous Cala Jondal beach, right between the (you might recognize) beach clubs Tropicana and Blue Marlin. A lot of attention has been paid to the decor of this beach club, which creates a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere. From the cool lamps (which we also sell --> lighting) to the menu, everything is just right. Despite the dishes on the menu being a bit pricey, you really shouldn't skip this great spot, because Casa Jondal is Ibiza through and through!
TIP: If you don't want a full meal, we have a good tip. Besides the restaurant, they also have a section with lounge chairs and a separate beach bar. Settle down in one of the lovely lounge chairs at the beach bar and enjoy a super delicious cocktail and the wonderful view!
#3 Cala Bassa Beach Club
This trendy beach club is located on the famous (you guessed it) Cala Bassa beach. It's a beautiful spot in yet another gorgeous bay. Take a seat at one of the tables, overlooking the azure blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The food is excellent, from fresh oysters to a delicious hamburger with fries. Oh, and the service is very friendly too! There's also a beach bar where you can grab refreshing drinks and snacks for the beach. TIP: You can park your car for €5 in the parking lot next to the beach club, and you'll even get a wonderfully cold beer or a refreshing bottle of water with it.
#4 Cala Bassa Santa Eulalia
You might think we're confused and are going to talk about the same beach club again, but Cala Bassa recently opened a new hotspot. This time it's not a beach club, but a super trendy place right in the harbor of the lively port town of Santa Eulalia. Surprisingly nice and still pleasantly quiet in the low season. You can take a seat on the comfortable lounge sofas that offer views over the bay and the boulevard of Santa Eulalia and just enjoy. The food is top-notch and the service is superb! TIP: The cheesecake is to die for, and the croquettes are finger-licking good! Combine this with a delicious bottle of cold Ibizkus rosé (100% made on the island) and your afternoon is complete.
#5 El Chiringuito Ibiza (Es Cavallet)
Perhaps a slightly too trendy spot, but one with very high quality. Personally, we found the service quite arrogant, but despite that, the location, decor, and food are very nice. The road to it is already a treat, as you drive right through Ibiza's salt flats. If you're lucky, you might even spot groups of flamingos. Actually, you should visit this place for that alone. TIP: You can also grab breakfast there, as the freshly baked croissants are truly divine! Plus, it's still nice and quiet at this spot in the morning.
#6 La Bodega (Ibiza Town)
You might encounter this tapas bar in multiple hotspot lists for Ibiza Town, and for good reason. The food is delicious, authentic, and affordable, the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, and the sangria... to die for! It's always busy there, and queues often form for a spot on the narrow terrace. TIP: Arrive early, as Spaniards often eat late, so if you come early, you'll have an easier time securing a nice spot on the terrace.
#7 Cotton Beach Club Ibiza
Cotton Beach Club is a bit of a see-and-be-seen kind of place, but secretly, this can be quite fun sometimes. You immerse yourself in Ibiza luxury. Delicious (and, in our humble opinion, perhaps a bit too expensive) food, attention to detail, and an amazing view over an azure blue bay. TIP: There's also a lounge deck where you can often get a refreshing cocktail without a reservation. You have a super beautiful view of the sea here, but it's scorching hot, so in the middle of the day, you'll melt a bit. What you can do, of course, is take a wonderful dip in the sea afterward!

#8 Day trip to Ibiza Town
Of course, you can't skip Ibiza Town, and it certainly deserves a place on the "The most beautiful hotspots of Ibiza" list. A visit to the city is an absolute must! A walk along the harbor, a visit to the fortress, delicious food in the cozy narrow streets, and of course, great shopping. You certainly won't get bored here. Personally, we find strolling through the streets searching for the top of the fortress the most enjoyable. This automatically leads you through surprisingly charming alleys and past beautiful viewpoints over the city and the harbor. TIP: Visit Ibiza Town in the late afternoon, as it's a bit cooler and more bearable then, and you can combine it with a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants.
#9 Visit the Hippie Market "Las Dalias"
When you think of Ibiza, you probably secretly think of hippies. Therefore, a visit to one of the many hippie markets is a must. Personally, we find the Las Dalias hippie market, held every Saturday, very enjoyable. There is often live music in the small courtyard, and the items sold are all very nice. There's a good chance you'll walk out with a bracelet or a lovely Ibiza outfit. TIP: Go early in the morning or late in the afternoon, because during midday hours it's scorching hot and extremely crowded. Another advantage is that there will likely still be plenty of parking space in the adjacent parking lot, where you can easily park for just €3.
#10 Can Muson Children's Farm
A petting zoo might sound odd to visit, but this eco-farm is truly a gem in the interior of Ibiza. Super fun to visit, especially if you're traveling with children. For just €9, you can visit the farm and receive a bucket of feed to give to all the animals, from rabbits to horses. TIP: They also have a lunch tent on the premises where you can enjoy a meal (even if you don't want to visit the farm). They serve delicious lunch dishes and cakes, made from products sourced from the farm. A wonderful place that not everyone knows about, so shhh....
#11 Watching the sunset on Sunday
Your visit to Ibiza is not complete without seeing the sun set into the sea at least once. The island with its many beaches is perfect for doing this every evening from a different location, but our favorite is the party the hippies have every Sunday at Cala Benirrás. Every Sunday they gather and drum during sunset. This gives the place something magical. The road to it is beautiful and makes you feel as if time has stood still. Once on the beach, you will be enchanted by the beautiful and perhaps magical bay. Enjoy the free atmosphere that this evening brings, while watching the setting sun. TIP: Arrive early, as it is always very busy on Sundays, meaning you will have to park far from the beach. Once on the beach, there are several restaurants where you can get cold drinks or even pizza to eat on the beach. Do you prefer to dine? Then you can reserve a spot at the beach club Elements. Psst... you can even book massages there. How much more zen do you want it?
#12 Drink an Ibizakus wine or visit the winery.
OMG, does Ibiza have its own winery? Yes, and not only that, the rosé is also super delicious! At least, we think so. Therefore, a bottle during your visit to Ibiza is almost essential. This delicious pink bottle can be found in most beach clubs or wine shops. We ourselves enjoyed it at Cala Bassa in Santa Eulalia. TIP: They also have their own winery where you can visit year-round and taste all the wines. #slurp
The most beautiful viewpoints in Ibiza listed.
You might not expect it beforehand, as Ibiza is known for its many parties, but the nature in Ibiza is incredibly beautiful. Therefore, the viewpoints truly belong among Ibiza's most beautiful hotspots. Actually, every corner of the island is wonderful to drive through, and you can suddenly be surprised by narrow dirt roads and hidden beaches. There are also a few beautiful viewpoints in Ibiza, but these are almost never signposted, so you really need to know about them in advance. This makes some places true hidden gems and even mysteries. We have therefore listed the most beautiful viewpoints for you.
#13 Es Vedra
Your visit to Ibiza is not complete without having admired Es Vedra at least once. Many stories circulate about this magical island. It is said to be one of the most magnetic places in the world, where compasses go haywire. Only the Bermuda Triangle is supposedly more magnetic. A bit too woo-woo for you? You'll understand the stories once you've arrived at Es Vedra. The 400-meter-high island is incredibly impressive, and once you arrive, you can't stop looking at it. The attraction is enormous. TIP: Come early in the morning, because later in the day it gets very busy, and parking is almost impossible. In the morning, you can easily park, walk through the gate, and then just follow the path straight ahead. There are no signs anywhere, but Google Maps will get you a long way.
#14 Atlantis
A mysterious place in Ibiza that is shrouded in secrecy. There are no signs anywhere, and some locals won't even know what you're talking about if you ask about it. Yet, this is a super cool place to visit when you're in Ibiza, and you can perfectly combine it with your visit to the Es Vedra viewpoint. The name Atlantis was given because inlets have been made in the rocks.
TIP: Come early in the morning. This has several advantages. You can park easily, as it can get very busy in the afternoon with people going to Es Vedra. Furthermore, it's a significant descent and climb (tougher than we thought), so it's still nice and cool in the morning. Also, wear good hiking shoes, because you won't make it in flip-flops. From the beautiful view in the photo below, you go straight down.
TIP: Bring plenty of water and food, as there's nothing to be found on this route.
ROUTE: There are no signs anywhere, so you really have to find it with Google Maps (or even a compass). But to make it easy, we'll give you a simple route. (1) Park your car in the parking lot in front of the Es Vedra viewpoint. (2) Go through the gate and follow the only path. (3) Walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes until you see a path that turns left. (4). Follow the left path until you reach the viewpoint below and then walk down towards Atlantis.
#15 Pirate Tower Torre Des Savinar
You can also combine this viewpoint of Es Vedra with the 2 hotspots mentioned above! It is located next to them, but instead of going left (Atlantis) you have to go right.
TIP: Wear good hiking shoes and bring enough water.
#16 Punto Grosso
The Punto Grosso viewpoint is located in the north of Ibiza and is much less known. You drive up a dirt road until it dead-ends. This point is also not signposted and there is no official hiking trail. But from that point, there is actually only one way to reach the spot. A beautiful place with stunning views, both to your left and right. Definitely recommended to visit if you are in the north of Ibiza.
#17 Punta Galera
A viewpoint that is not at all well-known and which we stumbled upon by chance. Via unpaved roads and primarily Google Maps, we arrived at this cool spot, which I think is only known to a few locals. That's precisely why it's so much fun to visit. It feels like authentic Ibiza, and the journey there is quite an adventure!
#18 Ibiza Castle in Ibiza Town
Of course, you can't miss this when visiting Ibiza Town. Everywhere you go, you can actually see Ibiza Castle, as it is located on the highest point of the city. It's really enjoyable to wander through the narrow, atmospheric, winding streets, looking for a route to the highest point. You'll be surprised by charming streets full of restaurants and beautiful viewpoints overlooking all parts of the city and the sea. TIP: After this walk, enjoy a well-deserved and refreshing sangria at one of the many outdoor cafes.

Beaches cannot be missing from the list of "The most beautiful hotspots of Ibiza", because Ibiza is, of course, known for its beautiful beaches. There are many well-known beaches where you can enjoy a wonderful day. But secretly there are also quite a few hidden gems that you just need to know about, otherwise, you would never have found them. The most fun thing to do, we think, is to drive along the beautiful coastline and use Google Maps to see which hidden beaches there are. A unique and adventurous way to explore the island. We say: Sunglasses on, music playing, windows down, and just drive... Destination? Unknown!
#19 Cala Conta & Cala Comte
Cala Conta and Cala Comte are among our personal favorites for a good reason! This is not only because of the super clear water, the white sand, and the nice beach club, but also certainly because of its location. You will find a magical sunset here. TIP: Reserve a table at the Sunset Ashram beach club during sunset. The beach club, located between the two beaches, is, in our opinion (the name might already suggest it), a perfect spot for a romantic sunset.
#20 Sa Caleta
A small and intimate bay that impresses by being surrounded by orange rocks. The water is also beautifully clear, and there's a pleasant beach bar. A true gem! That's why this small beach is also known as one of Ibiza's most beautiful hotspots. It's not far from Ibiza Town and can be perfectly combined with a visit to the famous Cala Jondal beach. TIP: Make sure to get here early, as this small beach can get very crowded during peak season.
#21 Cala Benirrás (hippie Sunday)
Wow, this beach certainly deserves a spot on the list of Ibiza's most beautiful hotspots. It starts with the road to this beach. The road to Cala Benirrás feels very authentic, and it's as if time has stood still here. This gives a special feeling. The small pebble beach is nestled between beautiful rocks and has many restaurants. You can get a nice cold drink and pizza for the beach, or choose to sit down at Elements. A restaurant known for good food and excellent massages. Yes, you heard right, you can also book massages here (tip!).
What makes Cala Benirrás extra special is the Sunday sunset. Every Sunday, the hippies drum as the sun sets, creating a spiritual and cozy atmosphere. TIP: Arrive early, because even in the low season, it gets very crowded here on Sundays, and finding a parking spot is a struggle.
#22 Cala Bassa
Cala Bassa earns a spot on this list not only for its beautiful white sand and azure blue water but also for the facilities available here. Charming beach bars and comfortable sunbeds. Everything you need for a relaxing day.
TIP: Reserve a spot at Cala Bassa Beach Club. Very good (and well-priced) food and beautiful views over the bay. It's a bit of a see-and-be-seen place, but secretly, that can be fun in Ibiza sometimes. So put on your nicest beach outfit and strut your stuff!
#23 Cala Jondal
Cala Jondal is a famous beach in Ibiza. This is because it has a number of well-known beach clubs in a row. How about Blue Marlin, Tropicana, and (our favorite) Casa Jondal. This means you really shouldn't skip this beach.
#24 Cala Salada
Cala Salada is incredibly beautiful. You only get there by walking a small path over the rocks. This small bay with its super clear water is therefore unique. It is also really not accessible for people with limited mobility. There are no restaurants here either, so bring enough food and drinks yourself. TIP: Even though this beach is difficult to reach, it is always incredibly busy. Parking is very difficult and sometimes a long walk, so we recommend going early.
#25 Cala Portinatx
Cala Portinatx is the beach of Ibiza's northernmost village, Portinatx. An old fishing village that is gaining popularity. More and more holiday homes and resorts are appearing here. This is because the north of the island is very beautiful. So be sure to stop here for a drink if you're touring the north!
#26 Cala de'n Serra
Less known is the beach of Cala de'n Serra, but this photo says it all, doesn't it? Truly another gem that certainly belongs on this list.
