Lighting in a room is one of the most underestimated mood creators. That's why our lamps are extra highlighted in this blog.
#1: CREATE A LIGHTING PLAN
Sit in your room in the evening and look around. You'll probably see a dark corner in your room. Is that right? Then those are exactly the spots for a beautiful mood lamp. By lighting every corner of your room, you make optimal use of the space and you will see that your room will appear larger.
#2: USE DIMMERS
Installing dimmers is actually a small effort and immediately ensures you have light for every setting. From bright light for vacuuming to dim light for a romantic dinner. With a twist of a knob, you instantly change the setting in your entire room. Sounds good, right?
#3: LOW WATTAGE
If you use mood lamps, such as wall lamps or light bulbs, make sure you choose a low wattage. This provides beautiful warm light, because you don't want to look into a too bright light bulb.
#4: OUTDOOR LIGHTING
Don't you also find it very unwelcoming when you look into your backyard in the evening and all you see is a black window? Make your garden part of your interior, even when it gets dark. A string of lights and/or a few lanterns are the perfect solution for this. Your house suddenly becomes a lot bigger and it also invites you to sit outside comfortably in the evening with, for example, a nice crackling fire.
