6 tips for your ultimate Bali trip!
Can't wait for travel to be possible again? A year ago, the world seemed so small, and now, due to COVID-19, it suddenly feels so vast! We certainly can't wait to travel to our favorite place on Earth again, but in the meantime, we're happy to share our tips!
#1 Book multiple Airbnbs instead of hotels!
Something you might not immediately think of, but the Airbnbs in Bali are fantastic!!! For just a few tens of euros a night, you can sleep in the most beautiful spots and villas. Take a sneak peek on Airbnb and be surprised! I'm sure Bali will be at the top of your bucket list after this. :)
Also, definitely don't stay in just one place. We personally prefer to stay in a different spot on the island every 3/4 days. Not just to explore the island, but also to sleep in multiple cool villas.
P.S. And often, the villas are even cheaper than the hotels! Check out our blogs for an overview of the nicest, most beautiful, and cheapest villas in Bali.

#2 Rent a scooter!
With a scooter, you can ride all over the island. Often for just a few euros a day, you can rent one, and this gives you so much freedom. Just hop on your scooter and ride around the island. Don't forget to pay attention, because sometimes you'll see the nicest warungs along the roads.
P.S. Make sure you bring an international driver's license and follow all the rules properly. Otherwise, you might get pulled over by the police.

#3 Gili and Nusa Islands
If you're going to Bali, plan to definitely make time for a visit to the Gili Islands (islands of Lombok) and the Nusa Islands (islands of Bali). These are a few small islands close together, which you can travel to by boat (don't forget your seasickness pills), but they are definitely worth it. Personally, we find 2/3 days per island group sufficient, because you want to get as much out of your trip as possible and unfortunately, a holiday doesn't last forever. The islands are known for excellent snorkeling and pristine white beaches.

#6 Create a food bucket list!
The food in Bali is amazing! You can literally get anything there. Breakfast with delicious smoothie bowls and dinner with fresh fish on the beach. We really enjoy planning this a bit, because otherwise, it's almost impossible to visit all the great food spots during one holiday!
