Often the prices are similar to hotels, but you get much more for your money. You can even book villas for just 2 people. Sounds good, right?
When booking a holiday, you often only book 1 or 2 hotels, but have you ever considered visiting 5 different spots in 2 weeks? You could choose 5 beautiful villas, or certainly include a hotel in between! This also gives you the freedom and time to explore the entire island and see something new every day. The fun thing about booking villas is that you also come across many unique places, think of a villa with a view of the rice paddies, sea, or jungle... it's all possible in Bali! So don't limit yourself to just one place on the island.
If you want to book the most beautiful villas, make sure you book them in advance. We tend to look for accommodation on the spot, but because of this, we've missed out on many beautiful places that are still on our bucket list.

Psssst... The list below does not contain the cheapest villas. Compared to a Dutch hotel room, the prices are very cheap, but if you compare them to other villas and hotels in Bali, you can certainly sleep much cheaper. #1 Le Cliff @ Bingin Beach
Your room on the cliffs of Uluwatu, how cool is that? Waking up to the sound of the waves and the view of the sea... This is a dream! Definitely worth booking for one night.
Uluwatu is also a beautiful location to stay during your trip to Bali. Uluwatu is known for its beautiful cliffs and rock faces. There is therefore a lot to see, from temples to beach clubs. It's a place you shouldn't miss during your trip!

#2 YUCCA Villas @ Perenenan
The YUCCA villas are primarily on the list because of their architectural style. We're already falling in love just by looking at the pictures! They are newly built, and special attention has been paid to the interior, making them a real must for interior design junkies!
The location is also great! Perenenan is truly an up-and-coming part of Bali. It's located just above Canggu (which is also very cool) and is a much quieter place, but with the most beautiful villas, restaurants, and beach clubs popping up. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Bali. Just hop on your scooter and drive...

Believe it or not, this spot is the cheapest of the five. And with such a view! This is because it's located a bit outside the tourist areas of Bali, but we actually like that. You don't want to spend your entire holiday around Kuta and Seminyak. It's nice to explore the whole island, and how amazing is it when you can stay in places like this?

#4 The Love Nest @ Seminyak
This is another example of "Why book a hotel room when you can stay in this little piece of interior paradise?"
The private villa is super stylish and meticulously decorated! We wish we could pick up this villa and swap it for our house in the Netherlands. The great thing about this villa is also its location. The Seminyak/Canggu area is the vibrant part of Bali. You'll find the coolest beach clubs (also see our blog about the top 10 Bali beach clubs), the best restaurants, and many shops. It's buzzing with life, but it's also very touristy because of this. It's a place not to be missed, but also not to stay too long, because the peace, culture, and nature on the rest of Bali are definitely worth exploring!

This designer villa is even more luxurious, with all the amenities. A place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful villa with a private pool. Every detail has been thought of; upon arrival, your fridge is even stocked with local fruits and delicacies. All you have to do is grab a towel and relax by the pool. Sounds good, right? The price of this villa might seem expensive, but try booking a suite in a hotel for that money, with so much space and your own pool. That's impossible for that price. So if you want to book something special, surprise your partner, or are on your honeymoon, this is definitely a great villa to book!
